Quite honestly I had to try this whiskey twice to make sure I knew exactly what I was tasting. What a great rye whiskey that Laws came up with and as you know I am partial to Rye whiskies. My nose reminded me of the smells of a fresh cut lawn and the sweetness one finds in a honey stick (most of us know what that is). The taste was of a mild peat flavor in the beginning but ended with a sense of honey and caramel. For a very young whiskey this is very delicious and worth trying. It will be interesting to see if you agree with my synopsis of this whiskey. I only say this because in the tasting there were only a few of us that tasted the same notes that I provided above. Cheers!
