Nikka Whiskey

Taketsuru Pure Malt Whisky from Japan.

First Japanese Whisky in my collection and quite tasty.  Very smooth with a nose of butter toffee and caramel.  The taste is mostly a smokey flavor  with a light buttery finish.  Definitely a sipping whisky not meant to be combined with anything else.
