On the nose:  The malt is very strong on the nose.  Perfect for the beer drinker that you are converting over to a whiskey drinker. 
Taste: This is by far one of my favorite malted whiskeys.  If you are a woman who enjoys beer you will love this whiskey.  Even though it tastes smooth in the beginning it still have a mild peppery finish that a whiskey should possess.  You will also taste notes of chocolate that are very pronounced and a smoky flavor that is quite tasty.  Absolutely delicious.  Cheers!
