2 ounces Simple Syrup
3 ounces of a Rye Whiskey (Bulliet, Templeton or your favorite)
3 dashes of Bitters
Combine Simple Syrup, Rye Whiskey, Bitters and Ice in a shaker. Shake the ingredients together. Fill the glass with ice, add cherry and orange rind. Pour liquid over ice. Enjoy!
